Today is perfect pikelet weather – overcast, rainy, cool, everyone confined to the house…. Of course the hot pikelets need to be covered in lashings of butter and syrup!
yum yum…that byoy holding the tray seems to be wanting to keep them all for himself! might just make some after school for my lot, its just started coming in drizzly with gusty wind here.
As my troops just sat down to warm pikelets and milo for afternoon smoko, I passed comment to them that they should thank Mrs McArthur for the inspiration. “She’s a good, good lady”, said Jessie. Beautiful weather. Here’s to more pikelet days.
