This little boy and his trusty grey steed are a great team. And this past week-end, they have accomplished much together. At work and at play..
Whether it is working alongside Dad, mustering and yarding the cows to pregnancy test…
Or participating in Pony Club, learning from some great local instructors who take time out of their day to provide tuition to our children.
Now when mustering is finished and the team is drafting, Sasha gets to frolic without her saddle in the cooler yard.
But at pony club, she is on duty most of the time…
Unless there is a meal break and there are mates to be with
and paper planes to fly!
Lunch break at the yards is not nearly as exciting but maybe a little more restful and relaxing..
Although while some of us enjoy the winter sun over lunch
others of us have to do a little maintenance on the water pipes…
There really is no down time when you’re a kid, you’re either hard at work with Dad, hard at work getting into mischief, hard at work learning new things or just plain hard at work having loads of fun!
Or in Eliza’s case, just hard at work being super cute!
