This week our family are partaking in a triennial event held in the Beef Capital of Australia, commonly known as Beef week.
An event full of inspiration, networking, mateship, land management, friendship, innovation, business sessions, stone grills, fine fashion, competitions, people, analysis, products, seminars, cocktails, dinners, steak burgers, ice creams, family, footsore, boots, ideas, beef, cows, seminars, commercial cattle, jeans, marketing, media, stud cattle, Brahmans, hats, Brahckles, Angus, crowds, 4 Wheel Drives, red meat, conversations, research, sunburn, knowledge, marketing, stalls, Santa Gertrudis, Estimated Breeding Values, discussions, technology, celebration, Man from Snowy River, agents, banking, International Guests, Ariats, Droughtmasters, CrackUp Sisters, Education, Champions, participation, children, fashion parades, bulls, ribbons, Races, Trade Displays, Entertainment, trophies, Education, iHerd, crowds, sawdust, RM Williams, Balls…
It has been a wonderful week thus far, and while tonight I’m feeling a little socially exhausted, I have been inspired by many wonderful people and have had many wonderful conversations with those who make the beef industry what it is.
So very proud to be an Australian Beef Producer!
Footnote: The tens of thousands of visitors attending have caused traffic chaos in Rocky, normally unassociated with a Regional Centre. Tonight we were treated to a mounted police directing traffic in an orderly and cooperative fashion. Sometimes it is the small things that can make the children’s day.

Hi Ainsley, just saw you on Landline listening to the Hadrick’s talking about how important social media is for the beef industry! You must be proud that you’re already a part of this very important way of teaching the rest of us what happens on a real-life cattle farm!! Thanks, Donna
