I’ve recently returned from the Problogger Conference. I felt a little out of place as many of the 700 odd attendees derived  income, received accolades, had built businesses and were quite influential in their respective fields through their online space. The two days gave me loads of inspiration and also a good dose of reflection.

One thing that was reinforced in my mind was the ‘why’ of my blog. The reason for keeping this space is to capture snippets of our family’s  life on the land.

…… I couldn’t think of a better way to grow up.

There’s nothing quite like #thelifeofacountrykid

I understand that feeling at problogger, part of what keeps me away, I might have been blogging for 9 years but I don’t derive any income so I’m not a pro. Actually when I read you and Jo were going I thought..oh it must be okay for me to go:)

Love seeing what your kids do and you won’t regret keeping a blog, when I look back over all the memories that I’ve captured that I otherwise would have forgotten I’m glad I’ve blogged all these years. Keep capturing the memory of ‘life of a country kid’ 🙂

Thanks Erin, I think it’s nice to reflect on our ‘why’ of blogging. Nine years is a great effort! Would love to meet you at the next Pro Blogger 😉
