Today is Friday, and school holidays are nearing the end. Ho Humm….
Our business dictates that I be in the office, dealing with spreadsheets, GST, invoicing, the bulging In/Out box and my email.  With the beautiful weather and the  kids all enjoying the mustering, I have sadly neglected the administrative part of our beef grazing business in the past week…..
But alas, another photo assignment interrupted my good intentions.
Adelaide has been eagerly waiting for months, her turn to ride. She has “tried” her helmet on plenty, so when she got the call up today, she was prepared.

Lachlan kindly sat on the rail….

as Adelaide was “borrowing” his mount.

He decided to follow on foot for a while,

until he was offered an easier option…..

Looks like we have another cowgirl in our family, she took to this like duck to water….

although she was a little dismayed when she wasn’t able to do the “hard” riding and instead had to help Dad repair fences….

Plenty of mustering yet, the season has only just begun……

the expression on her little face…don’t you just love little people 🙂

also love the buggy – far more friendlier for mum to cart big camera’s about on (had three snoozing kids in the back of ours mustering one day, poking down the laneway behind a mob of cows. Best Thing Ever. Husband disagrees, apparently it is The Worst Machine Ever at staying unbroken).

I’d say you’re spot on with buggy on both counts!. We have a carseat strapped to our’s most of the time – Eliza is just a wee bit small yet but her time is coming! As for being broken, I’m not sure if I should start….just say, we have banned taking this one off the road. (Don’t tell Rob I hit a rock in the long grass getting the milker in tonight – it was dark..)

What a big girl! Looks like you’ll be on the lookout for another steed.
